Welcome to CT Bus ("the App"), published by DiNerd Apps. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Description of service

The App provides real-time bus tracking, route and stop information, trip planning, and nearby stop discovery for CTtransit bus service in Connecticut. The App uses publicly available data from CTtransit's GTFS and GTFS-Realtime feeds.

2. Data accuracy

Bus positions, arrival predictions, and schedule data originate with CTtransit and are provided to you as-is. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any transit information shown in the App. Real-time feeds can be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable. Always verify time-critical travel plans against official CTtransit sources.

3. No affiliation

The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to CTtransit, the Connecticut Department of Transportation, or any government agency. "CTtransit" and "CT Transit" are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe the service the App covers.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Use the App in any way that could damage, overload, or impair the service or the upstream transit feeds
Redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit access to the App

5. Cost and advertising

The App is free to download and use, and is supported by advertising. By using the App you acknowledge that ads will be displayed. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising data is handled. If paid features are offered in the future, they will be sold through Apple's App Store and governed by Apple's payment, refund, and cancellation policies.

6. Safety

Do not use the App while driving or in a way that distracts you from your surroundings. Pay attention to traffic and to your environment when walking to or waiting at a stop.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to missed buses, incorrect arrival predictions, or service disruptions. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
